The Eternal Waltz ist eine satirische Operette in 1 Akt mit einem         Libretto von Austen Hurgon und Musik von Leo Fall, die am

22.Dezember 1911 im Londoner Hippodrome uraufgeführt wurde.

Bemerkenswert und in der Operettengeschichte einzigartig: hier           wird der Schöpfer Leo Fall höchst selbst parodiert und hört im              Stück auf den Namen "Feo Lahl"

Der Erfolg seinerzeit war so immens, daß die Operette alsbald ins

Französische übersetzt wurde.

Unsere Fassung ist die erste deutschsprachige Übertragung und 

folgt in den Gesangstexten dem englischen Original - im Libretto

jedoch der französischen Fassung.
